FAQs

  1. To get to Sea Change you will need to fly to the main island of Tongatapu via Auckland, Sydney or Fiji.  You then need to fly from the main island to Ha’apai (call sign HPA) via Lulutai Airlines – which is a short 30 to 45 minutes flight. When you make a booking with us we will provide information
on how to book your flights with Lulutai.

  2. Lulutai has a baggage limit of one carry-on at 7 kgs, and one checked bag at 23 kgs.

  3. We can provide fishing rods, lures and bait – but you are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer.

  4. Please bring wet weather gear in case it rains or is chilly.  Also bring sunscreen, mozzie spray, a torch, a good hat and polarised sunglasses.  Also please carefully pack and check all your essential items including medicines as we are remote and there are no local shops.  We do have first aid kits, but you may want to bring some basic antiseptics to apply to any cuts or scratches, etc to prevent infections.

  5. We can cater to basic diets but are not set up for food allergies as our kitchen may have food cross-contamination.  Please let us know in advance if you
    have any special dietary needs.

  6. Daily fishing trips run for approximately 6 hours and are weather dependent.  We serve lunch and snacks on the boat.

  7. Our all-inclusive meal plan covers breakfast, lunch and a 2-course dinner.

  8. Our fales have solar lighting, private bathrooms and hot water showers.  They do not have power.  We have AC power outlets in our bar/dining area that you can use to charge any low-wattage devices, and this is also where you will access wifi.  You can also bring a power pack if you want to be able to charge your devices in your fale or remotely.
